Julia Hartz

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Julia is responsible for the vision, strategy, and growth of Eventbrite. Under her leadership, the company has become a global ticketing and event technology platform that has received multiple awards for workplace culture. These accolades include Fortune's 100 Best Workplaces in the U.S., Glassdoor's Employees' Choice Best Places to Work, and San Francisco Business Times' Best Places to Work in the SF Bay Area. Julia has been honored as one of Inc.’s Female Founders 100, Fortune’s 40 Under 40 business leaders, Inc.’s 35 Under 35, and Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs.

Ted Dworkin

Chief Product Officer

As Eventbrite’s Chief Product Officer, Ted is responsible for leading the company’s global product management, design and research teams to drive innovation for event creators around the world. Ted’s product career spans nearly three decades, with experience in consumer, B2B and enterprise businesses as well as with platform ecosystems. Prior to joining Eventbrite, he served as Senior Vice President, Product Management and Customer Experience at Sonos and also had a 20-year run at Microsoft where he helped build some of the world’s best-known apps, websites, platform technologies and large-scale web services. Ted has approached each role with the responsibility of marrying the art of product creation with the science of applying data and technology to engage customers, create fans and grow profitable businesses.

Julia Taylor

General Counsel

Julia oversees the legal function at Eventbrite including product and privacy compliance, commercial operations, litigation, employment and corporate matters. Julia began her legal career as an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP focusing on technology transactions. Before law school, she served as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Governor Jerry Brown’s campaign for California Attorney General and was a staffer in the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein.

Lanny Baker

Chief Financial Officer

Charles “Lanny” Baker is the Chief Financial Officer at Eventbrite and oversees the global finance function, including financial planning, accounting and reporting, tax, and treasury. Prior to joining Eventbrite, Lanny was the CFO at Yelp where he led corporate finance, accounting, investor relations and workplace functions. Lanny has also served as the CEO and CFO at ZipRealty and CFO at Monster Worldwide.

Lauren Danis

Chief Communications Officer

Lauren Danis brings over two decades of experience to Eventbrite where she serves as the Chief Communications Officer overseeing the global integrated communications team which includes both internal and external communications strategies. Prior to Eventbrite, Lauren was the VP of Communications at Ancestry where she led all global brand and product communications, social media and influencer relations. Lauren also spent over a decade at leading global public relations firm Weber Shandwick where she worked on many of the firm’s marquee accounts including Mondelēz International, Unilever, Motorola, Nestle, Abbott, and one of the most iconic American campaigns in recent memory - “got milk?” Early in her career, Lauren held communications roles at Hyatt, travel start-up e.Gulliver.com, and Edelman after graduating from the esteemed Northwestern School of Communication and Media Studies. Currently, she brings her integrated brand-building expertise to Eventbrite in an effort to help advance the company vision and reputation amongst various stakeholders including Britelings, consumers, partners and investors. In her spare time, you can find Lauren reading a good book, finding her zen on her yoga mat, taking a long walk her husband and their two dogs, or experimenting in the kitchen with a new recipe.

Tamara Mendelsohn

Chief Marketing Officer

As Eventbrite’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mendelsohn leads a multi-disciplinary group of marketers responsible for driving brand awareness, acquiring new creators and strengthening relationships with existing ones. She was one of Eventbrite’s earliest hires in 2009, and before taking on her current role, Tamara served as GM/ VP of Consumer overseeing product, engineering, marketing, and business development for Eventbrite’s consumer destination and native apps. Prior to joining Eventbrite, Tamara was a Senior Analyst with Forrester Research, specializing in eCommerce technology.

Vivek Sagi

Chief Technology Officer

As Eventbrite’s Chief Technology Officer, Vivek is responsible for leading the company’s global engineering team to drive innovation for event creators around the world. Vivek’s career has spanned more than two decades as a serial entrepreneur and engineering executive. Prior to joining Eventbrite, he served as Chief Technology Officer for RetailMeNot and also held leadership positions at Amazon, first as the chief technology officer of Woot.com, an Amazon company, and then as the global head of product and engineering for Amazon Business Procurement Solutions.

John Adcock

Chief People Officer

John Adcock is the Chief People Officer for Eventbrite. In this capacity, he oversees the Company’s People function. The team pursues progressive solutions to workforce strategy, culture and engagement, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits, among other areas. In the course of his 25+ year career in Human Resources, John has led all major HR functions and has been a strong advocate for human centered design as a core tool to enable building products that support the workforce. John focuses his energy and team on creating great places for people to work where they can grow, develop, and achieve great results. John has previously served as Senior Vice President, People Operations at Care.com and at RetailMeNot. He has held senior HR leadership roles at HomeAway and Dell.
