How to use the Analytics tool

Eventbrite’s Analytics tool helps you make informed decisions for future events. View sales or attendee data insights for specific or multiple events over a period of time. Data can be grouped and filtered based on the view you select. To get started, go to your Event Dashboard. Then select Reporting, and choose Analytics.

In this article

Select one of the following from the drop down:

  • Sales - See your event sales by quantity, gross, or net across one or more events.

  • Attendees - See the number of attendees that have registered or the number of orders that have been placed.

NOTE: If customers register through the embedded checkout on your website, they won't show up as page views.

4. Set a time period of interest.

Select the time period you'd like to view data for:

  • Last 30 days

  • Last 60 days

  • Last 90 days

  • All time

  • Custom date range

5. Select the events you want to see data for.

You can view data related to:

  • Select from all ended events

If you have a recurring event and want to view analytics for multiple occurrences, choose “Select from all events”. Then check the box next to the events or occurrences you want to include.

6. Group your data.

Click on "Group By" to group data and customize your view. The options will differ based on what type of data you want to view. The option to group by city, state/province, or country is only available when running analytics on attendees—not sales.

7. Filter your data.

You can filter data by ticket type for more detailed insight.

8. Optional: Download your data.

Download your Analytics data to a spreadsheet by clicking “Export Data”.
