Fees for nonprofits organizations

If you represent a nonprofit organization and would like to organize events on Eventbrite, you can apply for a special discounted rate for Eventbrite Pro. To apply for the nonprofit rate, go to your Organization settings, select Plan management, and verify your nonprofit status. The approval process will take up to 2-3 business days. This offer is only available for organizers included in Eventbrite's pricing plans update, and the nonprofit discount doesn't apply to Ticketing Fees or the Flex plan.

Organizer Fee discount

If you're included in Eventbrite's pricing plans update, there's a fee to publish events with more than 25 tickets available.

If you represent a nonprofit organization and would like to sign up for a Pro plan, you can apply for a discounted rate of 50% off of the standard pricing. The Pro plan lets you host an unlimited number of events and increases the amount of marketing emails you can send per day. The final price varies depending on your country and plan tier.

If you don't sign up for a Pro plan, you can still publish events for a per-event fee using the Flex plan. However, the nonprofit discount doesn't apply to any fees for events published this way.

How Eventbrite verifies nonprofits

Eventbrite uses Percent, a trusted partner, to approve nonprofit applications. As part of the approval process, you will create an account with Percent and submit an application with your organization’s details. Then, Percent will review your application. After that, they will send Eventbrite your organization information and nonprofit status. If approved, you'll be able to sign up for a Pro plan with the nonprofit discount.

The data you provide to Percent is subject to Percent's terms and privacy policy.

Apply for a nonprofit discount

To apply for the discounted rate on Pro plans, you must be the owner or admin of your organization.

1. Go to Organization settings.

Log in to Eventbrite and go to Organization settings.

2. Go to "Plan management."

3. Select "Verify your nonprofit status" and fill out the application.

This link opens a form where you can create an account with Percent and enter your organization’s details. The email address you use on the form doesn't have to match your organization's Eventbrite email address. However, you must be able to check it for a verification request and to receive updates on your application.

NOTE: If this option isn't available, review your Organization settings. You must be an admin or owner to apply for this discount.

4. Check your email for approval confirmation.

You'll receive an email confirmation once your application has been reviewed. This normally takes up to 2-3 business days. If your organization is approved, you can sign up for a Pro plan with the nonprofit discount.

If you weren't approved or have questions about this process, contact Percent for additional support. Until your application is approved, you won't be able to receive the nonprofit discount.

5. Sign up for a Pro plan.

Even if you already have an active Pro plan, you still need to sign up for a new one after you're approved. The discounted price will take effect in your next billing cycle.

To sign up for a Pro plan, go back to Plan management in your Organization settings. Confirm you were approved by checking your Nonprofit status, then:

  1. Select Compare plans.

  2. Choose the number of tickets you want to offer per event.

  3. Select Subscribe now.

  4. Choose your billing frequency and enter your billing information.

  5. Select Update plan.

You must have a valid debit or credit card to complete your subscription.

You can return to Plan management to cancel or change your subscription. Updating your subscription won't remove your nonprofit status.

NOTE: If you upgraded from a previous Pro plan, there may be a charge but you'll have access to new features immediately. If you downgraded from a previous Pro plan, you'll still have access to your current suite of features until your current billing cycle ends.

Ticketing Fees

Eventbrite charges a Ticketing Fee for every paid ticket and add-on you sell. There are no discounted rates for Ticketing Fees for nonprofit organizations, but donation ticket types have reduced Ticketing Fees in certain areas.
