Zethu Maseko
Artist & Facilitator
Zethu Maseko is an interdisciplinary artist and workshop facilitator with 7 years of experience engaging diverse audiences in the UK and internationally. Her practice spans textiles and sound, exploring themes of water, memory, identity, and healing.
She has led artist-led weaving workshops at Chisenhale Gallery, and sound and identity workshops with New Contemporaries, blending creative practice with community engagement. In 2022, she developed the collaborative quilted banner 'Connected at the Root' for Primary’s 'Landedness' project in Nottingham, exploring diasporic relationships to land.
Zethu’s workshops mirror her artistic philosophy, fostering creativity, ancestral knowledge, and personal reflection through hands-on, participatory experiences.
