I’m a guide, storyteller, journalist, artist, historian and novelist. This makes a great combination of skills to really help to bring history to life! I’ve worked as a guide to Copenhagen for eight years, and can explain through vivid storytelling, great humour and energy the secrets of the city; its people, food, scandals, art, architecture, history and attitude. I like to get behind the facades of the grand buildings, and offer instead the quirky and original human stories that bring history to life. Copenhagen has much to be proud of in this well-run, clean, small, wholesome, environmental and forward-thinking country. There’s things to laugh about and question too, things that the Danes might not quite realise about themselves but that my all-seeing international eyes seize upon and wrestle into shape for a little gentle stand-up comedy.
