West Cumbria Rivers Trust

West Cumbria Rivers Trust

West Cumbria Rivers Trust protects, restores and improves the waterways and blue spaces in our region for the benefit of wildlife and the people living and working around them. We’re passionate about driving positive change for the ~3,400 miles of streams, becks and rivers that are the lifeblood of our region. We work collaboratively with farmers, fishing clubs, communities and organisations to try and bring our rivers back to life and keep them healthy for people and nature to thrive.

We’re proud to be part of the Rivers Trust movement, one of 60 local river trusts across UK and Ireland.
