The Wandering Wasp
Juvena Huang is an travel content creator, inspirational speaker, and advocate for sustainable and inclusive travel. Best known as The Wandering Wasp, she rose to prominence after riding solo by scooter from Singapore to Europe — a 44,000-km overland journey across 25 countries that challenged stereotypes, borders, and self-limiting beliefs.
Juvena travels and creates with a deep commitment to sustainability, cultural respect, and community empowerment. She champions off-the-beaten-path destinations, working closely with local communities — especially women-owned and grassroots businesses — to promote tourism that uplifts rather than extracts.
Through her storytelling, talks, and curated immersive tours, Juvena creates spaces for people to reconnect with courage, cultural intelligence, and conscious travel. Her events range from keynote speeches and storytelling showcases to overland motorcycle expeditions and mindful travel experiences in remote Himalayan and Asian regions — often taking participants beyond what guidebooks and algorithms can find.
Her self-shot short film “The Wandering Wasp in a Nutshell” has amassed over 1.9 million views and received three international film festival selections. To date, Juvena has spoken in multiple countries, reaching thousands with messages of resilience, diversity, and purposeful living.
Mission: To inspire people to travel consciously, live courageously, and create a more inclusive and sustainable world — one story, one journey, and one community at a time.
