Established in 2004, Software Acumen is a small team of passionate professionals operating from Cambridge, UK. We run practical events for software practitioners. Our ethos is to run great events rather than big events, giving people experiences they can immediately use in their work. We pride ourselves on being user-focused, designing then refining all our events to ensure our participants want to come back every year.

We organise the Agile Cambridge conference - the East of England event for the agile and lean software development communities.

 In 2011, we founded the UX Cambridge conference - bringing together user experience professionals, designers and developers primarily from the eastern region. Then, in 2012, we created UX Scotland to take our brand of UX events to Scotland. It’s the largest UX event north of the border.

 We also run Service Design in Government, Agile Manchester, Lean Agile Scotland and UX in the City: Manchester.
