ScotsCare

We are ScotsCare. Our charity has provided support to Scots and their families in need in London and the Greater London area for over 400 years. We are the only charity in London specifically working with Scots. We provide support to clients identified as 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation (under 18) and who are:

• living or found within a radius of 35 miles of Charing Cross

• a person born in Scotland, or;

• the child of a person born in Scotland, or;

• someone married to a first generation Scot, or;

• the widow, widower or surviving member of a civil partnership of a person born in Scotland, or;

• the widow, widower or surviving member of a civil partnership of a person, one of whose parents was born in Scotland.

Our mission is to end multi-generational cycles of deprivation experienced by current and prospective clients.

Our clients present with a wide range of issues including homelessness, physical and mental health challenges, substance misuse, lack of familial support and those suffering domestic violence. The negative impact of these issues on the client and other family members is the reason for our ‘one-stop-shop’ of tailored support services.
