Memories Without Borders (MWB)

Join us for events hosted by Memories Without Borders, a Canadian-Hungarian non-profit association dedicated to fostering cultural connections through education, documentation, and community outreach. All our events are open to the public, creating opportunities for learning and meaningful engagement.

In 2023, we proudly presented the "Senior Academy Online Lecture Series", supported by the Canadian Government's "New Horizons for Seniors Program".

Looking ahead to 2024, we’re excited to introduce our new program series: "Creative Aging". This initiative will explore various art programs, providing seniors with hands-on opportunities to experience and test different forms of creative expression.

In 2025, we continue this journey with Nature’s Wonders: Discovering Toronto’s Biodiversity, a hybrid program of online learning and guided nature tours, made possible through ongoing support from the New Horizons for Seniors Program.

By offering a combination of educational and recreational experiences, Nature’s Wonders will create a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes social interaction, hands-on learning, and a deeper connection with Toronto’s natural heritage. Through this hybrid format of online and in-person sessions, the program fosters curiosity, well-being, and community engagement—empowering seniors to stay active, connected, and inspired by the world around them.
