Helen Todd
Helen has always enjoyed spending time in nature- and getting out to the Peak District, parks, and other natural areas has always been her go-to in times of stress. Her passion for nature connection as a tool for both improving mental health and wellbeing, and inspiring people to take better care of the environment, led her to study 'Shinri Yoku' or Forest Bathing- a Japanese practice involving slowing down and connecting with nature through all the senses. She is a certified Forest Therapy Guide with Nature and Therapy UK. Helen has a background working with charities in the UK and internationally for over 20 years, in leadership, innovation, arts for social change and community engagement roles. She is also a freelance facilitator, and enjoys combining Shinrin Yoku with team building, reflection, planning, and design thinking.
