NUTRITIONAL CARE PACKAGES

Forever R Children seeks to provide free services to children and adults in economically challenged families who cannot afford food, basic clothing and more. The organization will offer the following:

nutritional meals

clothing and shoes

toiletries

mentoring services

educational scholarships

life skills training

The current target populations include children and adults in need residing in the Greater Summit and Stark county area of Northeast Ohio.

MONTHLY GIVEAWAYS

The organization typically offers monthly give-a-ways. Some are holiday focused with special activities for kids and their parents.

In addition to regularly distributed items, gift cards from local retail establishments are also provided. These events are well received with approximately 250 clients served.

Typical monthly give-a-ways include securing 15 to 20 volunteers including board members to set up the distribution site by:

setting up the intake table

organizing boxes of food, clothing, etc. in special zones

displaying food, clothing etc. for clients to take

escorting clients as desired items are selected

assisting clients and selected items to vehicles as needed.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Recognizing the tremendous need in the target area, though not the main focus of the agency, when possible, Forever R Children works to help the homeless by assisting with housing referrals, transportation, food, toiletries, shoes and socks upon request.

The organization has also donated two cars to individuals needing transportation.
