African Innovation Week

African Innovation Week (AIW) is a global movement aiming to energize innovation and entrepreneurship that brings tangible and inclusive development in the African continent. Once a year, AIW brings together global stakeholders from public, private, startup ecosystems and academia in Addis Ababa. Throughout the year AIW arranges different events in AIW scope, to uncover the innovative solutions and facilitate collaboration between investors and entrepreneurs.

AIW’s vision is to serve as a multi-lateral entrepreneur collaboration ecosystem within Africa and beyond. African Innovation week is initiated and owned by IBA Norway and is supported by the Foreign Ministry of Norway via the Royal Norwegian embassy in Addis Ababa. AIW is an independent non-profit organization legally registered in Norway.
