Anu Jolliffe
Anu Jolliffe is the founder of the Victoria Microsoft AI Users and Innovators Meetup group and a seasoned business operations consultant with over 25 years of experience in diverse sectors such as agriculture, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, transportation, IT, financial services, government, and defence. His expertise spans numerous business functions, including operations, project management, accounting, procurement, and IT. Anu holds several technology certifications, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, focusing on technology-driven solutions to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.
Raised on a family farm in rural Ontario, Anu developed a strong understanding of circular economy principles and environmental sustainability. He's completed the Applied Circular Economy: Zero Waste Buildings micro-credential program at BCIT and is a Coast Waste Management Association member. Notable achievements in his career include introducing dial-up internet and high-speed wireless services to the Southern Gulf Islands, implementing remote work solutions (before it was a thing) and VOIP phone systems, and facilitating the national growth of a British Columbia-based transportation company. He also helped establish a sustainable offsite construction company specializing in panelized structural steel framing.
