Using the Eventbrite app

Find, like, and share events

Find and register for events.

Go to Discover to browse events in your area, or use the search function to search for events in other areas. Events can be sorted by relevance or date, and you can filter by:

• Date

• Category

• Price

• Event type (online or in-person)

To register for an event, select the tickets you want and fill out the registration information. Then select Place order. Once your order is completed, you can access your tickets by going to Tickets.

“Like” an event.

Go to Discover. Then tap the “heart” icon next to an event title to “like” it. You can also select the event and tap the “heart” icon in the upper-right corner of the event listing.

Share an event.

Go to Discover. Then tap the “share” icon next to an event title to text a link to the event, or share it on social media. You can also select the event and tap the share icon in the upper-right corner of the event listing. 

Manage tickets 

Access your tickets and confirm registration information.

Once you’ve registered for an event, go to Tickets and select your ticket. From there, you can:

• Access your ticket’s QR code to be checked in at the event

• Confirm the event date, time, and location

• Add the ticket to your Calendar or Wallet.

• Share your ticket by selecting the “Share” icon in the upper-right corner

• Download your ticket

• Change to a different ticket type or event

Swipe right to view additional tickets in an order with more than 1 ticket.

Cancel your order or request a refund.

Go to Tickets and select your ticket.

For free registrations, select Cancel order and choose Yes to cancel the order.

To request a refund for a paid ticket, review the event’s refund policy and select Request refund if your request falls within the policy.

Contact the event organizer.

If you have questions about the event and need to contact the organizer:

1. Go to Tickets and select your ticket.

2. Tap Contact (under Organized by).

3. Select a contact reason.

4. Include a message.

5. Select Send message.

Follow organizers and find friends

Follow organizers to receive updates on upcoming events

• Follow organizers: Go to Discover and tap an event to visit the event listing. Then scroll to Organized by and select Follow.

• Manage organizers you follow: Go to Account and select Organizers you follow. Then tap Unfollow to unfollow an organizer.

Find and follow friends by syncing your contacts with the Eventbrite app

1. Go to Account and select Friends. 

2. Select Find your crew to sync your contacts and find friends who are also using the app.

3. Tap Follow to send a follow request.

Edit your Eventbrite profile

To access your Eventbrite profile, tap Account. Then select the “Settings” icon in the upper-right corner. You can edit your:

• Profile picture

• First and Last name

• Location

• Password

To close your account, select Close account. If you have tickets to an upcoming event, you’ll need to wait until after the event occurs to close your Eventbrite account.
