Troubleshoot problems registering for an event
If you have trouble registering for an event, make sure all your billing information is entered correctly and that the form is filled out completely. You can also clear your browser's cache and cookies or use a different web browser to complete your order. If your event is using PayPal for checkout, you’ll need to contact PayPal support for help.

You registered for an online event but can't access it.
Your credit or debit card was declined.
If your credit or debit card is declined, check to make sure the following information is entered correctly and try again:
Card Type — Select the type of card you are using, like Visa or Mastercard.
Card Number — Card numbers are usually 16 digits long.
Expiration Date — If your card is expired, you will need to use a different card.
CVV Code — This is the 3-digit security code on the back of your card. Select “What's this?” on the registration form to learn more.
Billing Address — The address associated with the card you're using.
If your credit or debit card is still being declined:
Make sure you're not using a government-issued card or a pre-paid gift card. These may be declined for various reasons.
Contact your bank or credit card company
Try using a different card
Any abandoned charges on your statement should drop off of your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank or credit card company.
You received an “Unusual activity detected” error.
This error is due to unusual activity detected with your order. To resolve:
Log in to your Eventbrite account before placing your order.
Disable your VPN, if you’re using one.
Try placing the order again at a later time.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
An overloaded web browser can cause things like missing fields or unresponsive buttons. This can prevent you from being able to register successfully. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try to register again.
Try a different web browser.
Make sure your web browser is up to date or try using a different browser. You can also try registering for the event using a different device.
Tickets for the event are unavailable or sold out.
Different messages show on the event listing when tickets are sold out or unavailable:
Sold Out: If there are no tickets left for sale, contact the event organizer to see if you can still register.
Sales ended: Ticket sales have closed.
N/A or Unavailable: Tickets are not available to the general public.
There's not enough time to complete an order.
Events with a lot of questions take longer to register. If you don't have enough time to complete your order, contact the event organizer and ask them to increase the time limit.
You registered for an online event but can't access it.
Event organizers are responsible for providing instructions on how to join their virtual events. If you're having trouble joining a virtual event, contact the event organizer.
