1. Go to your event dashboard.
Log in to Eventbrite and go to Events . Then select your published event.
If your event is a recurring event:
Don't choose a date and time to email attendees across your entire event.
Click Select a date and time to email attendees for a specific date and time of your event.
2. Go to "Emails to attendees" (under “Manage attendees”).
If you don't see this option, make sure the account owner has given you permission to email attendees in their organization settings.
3. Create your email.
Select New attendee email. You can also edit or copy a scheduled email. Then, enter or update the following fields.
Name: Name of the person or organization sending the email.
Reply-to email: Where replies to your email are sent.
To: Who you want to receive the email. Send to all attendees or choose specific attendees.
Subject: Subject of this email reminder.
Message: Write a message to your attendees.
For best results, don’t copy and paste from other word processors (this may add hidden formatting). Use the buttons in the toolbar to add formatting or images.
You can't attach files to your email. However, you can include links to content hosted on other websites.
"All attendees" only includes people who are registered at the time the email is sent. Attendees who haven't registered yet or had their orders cancelled won't receive the email.
4. Send a test email.
Select Send a test email to send a test email to yourself. If you have trouble receiving the test email, check your email spam settings.
5. Choose when to send your email.
Once an email is sent or queued, you can't cancel or edit it. When you’re ready to send your email, you can choose between the following options:
Send now to send your email immediately.
Schedule send to send your email on a future date.
If you decide to schedule your email send, you can choose between the following:
Send on a specific date and time (based on your event's timezone).
Send a number of days, hours, or minutes before your event starts.
If you’re sending to all instances of a recurring event, you can only choose to send now or send on a specific date and time.
6. Select "Send" or "Schedule."
The button changes depending on if you're sending your email immediately or scheduling it for a future date.
7. Review your emails.
Return to Emails to attendees to see scheduled, queued, and sent emails.
Select the subject to view the email.
Select Emails to view the recipients.
Select Copy to create a new email with the same content.
Emails will show as “Queued” until they have been successfully sent to all recipients.
The amount of time an email is queued depends on how many emails are being sent through Eventbrite across all accounts. Refresh your page to see the current status.
