Why did I receive a payout from Eventbrite?

If you're not sure why you received a payout from Eventbrite, locate the Event or Payout ID in your bank statement (direct deposit) or reference number (check). Then, use that to find the event listing or payout associated with the ID referenced in your statement.

Find the ID associated with your payout

Depending on how Eventbrite processes your payout, the description on your bank statement will reference either your Event ID (EID) or your Payout ID. You can use either of these to find the event associated with your payout.

If your bank references the Event ID (12 or more digits)

Insert the EID in the link below. Then, copy and paste it into your browser:

  • http://www.eventbrite.com/e/EID GOES HERE

This will take you to the original event listing related to the payment received. If you still don't recognize what the payment relates to, go to the event and select Contact the organizer (or Contact) to connect with the event host.

For payouts by check (USD only), the EID is listed as a "Reference Number" in the lower left corner of the check.

If your bank references the Payout ID (9 digits)

To determine the event using a Payout ID, export a payout report. To access this report, you need to be the account owner or an admin with the necessary permissions.

  1. Log in  to your Eventbrite account.

  2. Go to Manage my events .

  3. Go to Finance and select Payouts.

  4. Select Filters.

  5. Find Enter a single payout ID and add the Payout ID.

  6. Select Apply.

This will display any payouts that match the ID you entered.
