Why did I receive a payout from Eventbrite?

If you're not sure why you received a payout from Eventbrite, you can use the Credits ID (direct deposit) or Reference Number (check) to find the event listing and contact the organizer who created the event. The organizer also enters the payout details, so they're a good contact if you're looking to identify who should receive the payment.

Find the Event ID

Every event on Eventbrite has a unique Event ID (ex: 130288278749). You can use the Event ID (EID) to find out which event is associated with the payout you received.

  • Direct Deposit: The EID is generally shown as the "Credits ID" in the description on your bank statement. Keep in mind that your bank determines what you see in the description.

  • Check (USD only): The EID is listed as a "Reference Number" in the lower left corner of the check.

Find the event listing

Insert the EID in the link below. Then, copy and paste it into your browser:

  • http://www.eventbrite.com/e/EID GOES HERE

This will take you to the original event listing related to the payment received. If you still don't recognize what the payment relates to, use the "Contact the Organizer" or "Contact" button on the event listing to reach out to the person who created the event and entered the payout details.
