How do I remove someone from the waitlist?

You can remove a prospective attendee from the waitlist by clicking Manage Waitlist (under Order Options). If you release a ticket to someone on your waitlist, you can only delete them after the "ticket release" email has expired (based on the “time to respond” you set before they were added to the waitlist).

  • 1. Go to your event dashboard.

  • 2. Choose "Manage Waitlist" (under "Order Options").

  • 3. Select people to remove from the waitlist.

  • 4. Click "Delete" (at the bottom of the waitlist).

1. Go to your event dashboard.

Event creators can log into their Eventbrite account here . Then select your event.

If your event is a recurring event, then click Select a date and time. Choose a date and time and select Continue.

2. Choose "Manage Waitlist" (under "Order Options").

3. Select people to remove from the waitlist.

On the Manage Waitlist page, review the list of people that signed up for the waitlist. Select the box next to their information to delete them from the waitlist.

NOTE: Each entry on the waitlist corresponds to one ticket to your event.

4. Click "Delete" (at the bottom of the waitlist).
