The Danish fintech industry is craving global fintech talents and access to highly qualified FinTech employees. It is crucial for the Danish fintech sector, that it is fast and easy to recruit new fintech talents and to up- and reskill experienced financial employees, if the sector is to create new, attractive and high wage jobs, generate growth and preserve future fintech unicorns in Denmark.
It is important to approach access to talent from different angles both when it comes to retaining foreign and exchange students in Denmark after graduation, attracting fintech specialists to Copenhagen and up- and re-skilling employees from the financial sector due to a number of reasons i.e. interesting job opportunities, attractive fintech educational offerings, competitive taxes, a world-class fintech ecosystem and best-in-class social services.
Relevance
- The meeting will provide an opportunity to explore and debate fintech talent policy and chip in with relevant inputs to Copenhagen Fintech Policy Forum. We will discuss how to attract and retain talented fintech students, attract and recruit fintech specialists and up- and reskill financial employees.

- What challenges and opportunities are the fintech industry in Denmark facing when it comes to retaining talented students, attracting specialists and up- and reskilling financial employees?
- What can we do to make Copenhagen one of the most attractive fintech workplaces and ecosystems in Europe?
The organizer behind this event is Copenhagen Fintech Policy Forum, which consists of the organizations The Confederation of Danish Industry, Finance Denmark, The Financial Services Union Denmark and Copenhagen Fintech.
