Viborg Game Jam - Winter 2023

Viborg Game Developers, The Animation Workshop and Arsenalet open their doors for 48(-ish) hours of intense game creation! Join us and release your inner dev powers! Team up with friends, make new ones or be a lone rider for a weekend of creative fun.

The theme of the game jam has been decided on but remains a secret until the event starts.

As the date approaches, we'll toss you some hints here and there. ;)

Get a ticket here on Eventbrite and let us know if you're joining! It's great for us to get a good idea of how many are joining in total, so we can prepare well in advance.

For the first time in our long history, we're introducing a small fee of 50 DKK to join the game jam. That helps the Viborg Game Developer Association stay afloat and covers the common breakfast and more. Payment can be done once you arrive at the jam or through MobilePay (link).

🎁 Free Entry for Members: As a member of the Viborg Game Developers Association, you get to enjoy this event for free! Just show up, join your fellow game jammers, and let the creativity flow.

💰 Non-Members of Viborg Game Developers: If you're not a member yet, fret not! You can still participate by paying the 50 DKK fee and simultaneously opt in to become a member of the Viborg Game Developers Association for a year. That's right, for just 50 DKK, you'll not only gain access to this fantastic event but also become part of our vibrant community of game enthusiasts and developers. And this gives you access to the next game jam coming in the first half of 2024.

Prepare your combat gear:

Your dev gear (Computer, Art/Sound tools etc.)
A sleeping bag and mat if you choose to sleep over at our facilities
Towel and change of clothes to stay fresh
Snacks for yourself
Chill vibes

Are you a beginner, hobbyist, professional or simply game dev-curious? - Doesn't matter! Viborg Game Jam is an all-inclusive buffet of fun/crazy/scary/beautiful/(-insert your own-) ideas, and we can't wait to see what comes out on the other end!
