Kim Veber Carlsen is Head of Division, Epic (Sundhedsplatformen) Implementation and Development.
With extensive experience in digital health implementation and nearly a decade of experience supporting clinical leaders in driving change through healthcare IT, Kim has played a key role in IT development and implementation at a strategic level within the public healthcare system in the Capital Region of Denmark.
As Founder and Co-owner of Pontem, Kim is dedicated to offering integrated solutions between healthcare and IT. Through firsthand experience, Kim has learned that technology must be seamlessly integrated into normal workflows and core IT systems to create sustainable and scalable value. At Pontem, integration and implementation are the foundation for healthcare transformation.
Pia Andersen is the Chief Consultant at Healthinnovation in Region Zealand.
Pia has previously created the governance, the operational model, and concepts for needs assessments and effect evaluation for Nordic Health Lab.
Currently, Pia leads the Regional Innohub at Region Zeala, matching, testing, and implementing startup and scale-up solutions in close collaboration with clinicians to create real value for both healthcare professionals and patients. She spearheads needs-driven innovation initiatives—running needs sprints, analyses, and advising on public-private innovation partnerships—and offers expertise in evaluation, facilitation, and project design.
Pia also cultivates strategic, long-term partnerships that help scale successful methods across (and beyond) the region, and for instance drives the collaboration with the Beta.Health program.
