Touch, Play, Code, is an interactive exhibition that explores the recent experiments from the May 2026 CIID Cohort's Physical Computing course.
Their brief was to design interactive games that can help people understand the fundamentals of the digital world in playful and explorative ways. The students of the Interaction Design Programme, a year long intensive course at CIID, have taken on this challenge in their Physical Computing class led by Andrea Desiato, Jose Chavarria and Paula Te.
Andrea Desiato is an independent product and interaction designer working at the intersection of physics and design.
Jose Chavarria is a Creative Technologist, Industrial Design Engineer and Interaction Designer and resident faculty at CIID.
Paula Te is a design technologist whose work lies at the intersection of learning, crafting, and community. She was a design researcher at MIT and is a member-owner of Interstitial Technology Coop, PBC.
