Monthly music classes for children aged 1-3 years – with singing, dancing, guided play and active listening

Toddler Music Time is a music class in English for children aged 1-3 years, taking place once a month (on select Saturday mornings) at Eliaskirken in Vesterbro. It is an educational and playful experience for you and your toddler, giving you both the opportunity to:

- Enjoy singing, dancing, guided play and active listening together

- Share a playful and educational experience

- Learn songs and hymns in the beautiful church space

- Meet other local parents and toddlers

The teaching style builds on the Babysalmesang (baby-hymn-singing) tradition which has been hugely popular in churches throughout Denmark, but all toddlers and parents are welcome, whether or not you’ve tried any kind of music class before! Toddler Music Time is tailored to suit the educational needs of children aged 1-3, as they are becoming increasingly active and are developing their motor skills, alongside their linguistic and musical awareness.

Toddler Music Time is hosted by Folkekirken for Internationals and Pastor Maria Fihl and led by music teacher Sarah Greenhow. After the class there will be tea, coffee and the chance to chat.

The class is FREE but places are limited, so booking is required. Just book one ticket per child.

Toddler Music Time is suitable for children aged 1-3 years. (If your baby is younger than 12 months, please check out our Babysalmesang in English events.)
