About this event

This event is about TIBER “Threat Intelligence Ethical Red Team”. TIBER structures an approach to advanced security test the resiliency of banks, using real life scenarios, where the “red time” (being the hackers) plans and carries out attacks like a real threat actor would do. The hackers attack strategies are based on information on actual threat groups and nation state actors threating the tested bank.

David Thejl-Clayton and Martin Kofoed have lots of experience from the “blue side” of the financial sector in designing and running a Cyber Defence Center and Incident Response Team, and have participated in multiple red team tests on the defence side. Nowadays both are working as cyber security advisors for Combitech, helping banks preparing and executing TIBER tests.

On the talk they will go through the tasks and roles in a TIBER which both include stakeholder management, cyber threat intelligence, penetration test and reporting and share real life war stories from when hacking the banks, on purpose.
