The BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food is presenting this On-Farm Composting Field Day in the Thompson-Nicola region. Join knowledgeable experts at Monte Creek Winery in Monte Creek to learn practical hands-on information on topics such as:

How to properly site and construct a compost pile,
How to use compost as a replacement for synthetic fertilizer,
The benefits of compost for soil health and fertility,
How to determine application rates, timing, and method when using compost,
Information on soil testing and how to interpret soil test results,
Regulatory considerations of on-farm composting.

Lunch will be provided after the session.

Space will be limited to the first 20 registrants.
