About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

In this workshop you will discover what it is to 'look' and how to apply this to your photography. Technically speaking, photography simply would not exist without the act of 'looking'. Often the photo is taken first and contemplation comes later, and more often than this we find ourselves in a world where there seems to be less of the ‘thinking’ part.

This workshop will encourage you to introspectively look at the world and question not only what it is that you are looking at, but most importantly ‘why’. Artists often speak of finding their own voices and the ‘why’ part is just one bridge to help them get there.

For Bradley Waller, photography has always been something comparable to poetry or literature. A pure articulation of thought and observation. Instead of language via words, we are left with a visual language. And possibly something to say.

As always, all cameras are welcome.

Please note: Leica cameras will be available to use during the workshop, please bring a photo ID if you would like to loan one for the session.
