About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

In this workshop you will learn to understand the importance of ‘looking’ and how to apply this to your photography. Often the photo is taken first and contemplation comes later, this workshop will guide you on how to slow down in the moment and what to consider before taking the perfect shot.

The session will start with an introduction from Bradley Waller where he will discuss his approach to photography, why it is important to think and observe before taking photographs and discuss his personal experience and expertise using this approach. Bradley will encourage you to introspectively look at your surroundings and question not only what it is that you are looking at, but most importantly ‘why’.

You will then learn to apply this knowledge by heading outside, revisiting busy spaces with your camera and seeing them through fresh eyes, guided and coached by Bradley. He will show you how to slow down in the moment, notice hidden details and capture moments that most photographers miss.

Please note: Leica cameras will be available to use during the workshop, please bring a photo ID if you would like to loan one for the session. As always, all cameras are welcome.
