About this event

Silvers is a project of dinners hosted by the senior generation. To give people access to the authentic stories and knowledge of senior people. Based in Copenhagen.
Every Silvers Dinner is hosted by someone who has lived a full life (leading companies, writing stories, building communities, sailing the ocean, raising families, creating movements, travelling around the world) and wants to share what they have learned through time.
Now, they open their homes for a few guests at a time to share a homemade meal and life inspiration.

This dinner takes place in Elisabeth’s tiny home in Christiania, where she has lived since the 1970s. The evening is about sustainability, simplicity, and rhythm- in how we eat, how we live, and how we think.

Before dinner, Elisabeth will show you around her garden and her corner of Christiania. Then, she’ll serve a home-cooked Danish meal made with ingredients from her garden and stories from her life.

About Elisabeth

Elisabeth is a Danish dancer, teacher, and traveller who has spent her life moving between cultures, planting roots in communities, and returning again and again to what’s essential.

She lived and taught in Ghana for many years, where she co-founded the Folkloric Selamta Cultural Center. In Denmark, she’s worked across generations—teaching, performing, and building cultural exchange between worlds.

Her home reflects the life she’s lived: layered, grounded, and full of rhythm. The food she cooks comes with stories. The garden grows out of decades of care. And the evening moves at her pace—slow, intentional, generous.
