Come join the makers of the Danish animated docudrama “FLEE”, when it airs at the ‘House of Creative Denmark’ @Wanderlust Wine monday evening.
Denmark has a talented pool of creative filmmakers, visual designers and storytellers. Director Jonas Poher Rasmussen is one, and his recent film “FLEE” made history with three Oscar nominations for ‘best animated feature’, ‘best documentary feature’, and ‘best international feature film’, making it the first film ever to receive nominations in all three categories.
FLEE animates the true story of a gay Afghan man's flight from war-torn Kabul to Copenhagen, Denmark. We hear of Amin’s harrowing experiences as a child refugee and the experiences he has of displacement, fear and neglect.
On Wednesday March 16th the film’s co-producer, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will introduce the film and talk on his special engagement in the film.
