This training session is a game. "Red" and "Blue" team concepts were borrowed from war strategy and introduced in cybersecurity. These terms are used to describe that one team will be attacking(the Red team) and the other team (the Blue team) will use their knowledge to defend. We will work in teams to explore how complex tasks can be approached and the blue team will use the knowledge to identify the indicators of compromise(IOC).
The session will use a new platform.
Requirements:
During the training session, we will play with the DefAtt platform, which is based on a VPN connection. Therefore, it would be helpful if you install beforehand Wireguard (https://linuxhint.com/install-configure-wireguard-kali-linux/) and configure it to have it ready. They should have Kali either locally or a virtual machine.
