Oslo-China Tech Summit

The Nordic-China Startup Forum is a non-profit NGO registered in Sweden that arranges recurring events in local startup communities alongside corporate and government partners. NCSF is operated by students and young professionals from the Nordics and China and has chapters in ten cities: Stockholm, Uppsala, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Shenzhen-HK, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.

Bridging two of the most active players in sustainable innovationThe Oslo-China Tech Summit is your gateway to promoting sustainability across Norway and China. Focused on current and future opportunities for tech scaleups that present solutions and products aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, this event will serve as a platform to break down the barriers and inspire, empower and connect entrepreneurs across regions to create value where it is most needed.Green energy and Norway-China businessGreen energy is core to sustainability, and this year’s Oslo-China Tech Summit will look at the opportunities and challenges presented by green energy innovation across the Oslo region, Norway and China. With more than half of all new car sales in Norway being electric vehicles, and with China being the largest producer and consumer of electric vehicles in the world, these two markets have obvious common interests. In investment, research, trade and production, there are ample opportunities to develop these interests and opportunities, creating value that will ensure a more sustainable environment for both sides. Based on this fact, the Oslo-China Tech Summit gathers critical actors across the boundaries to present key insights on the green energy sectors, active projects of cooperation and market opportunities for new actors. A unique opportunityIn addition to raising awareness and sharing best practices, the event will feature a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs. The Nordic-China Hi-Tech Weeks will see a Nordic delegation of forefront entrepreneurs receive a sponsored trip to China on a tailored matchmaking program with Chinese partners.
