Copenhagen Fintech in collaboration with the Danish Innovation Center in Munich is arranging an Innovation, learning & startup scouting trip to Munich.

The purpose is to strengthen the participants in terms of open innovation and corporate innovation by learning from global best practices in the Munich region.

The Munich Fintech ecosystem

Munich is home to the various world leading InsurTech and FinTech companies. Nine of the 30 companies on the German DAX index today come from Bavaria and companies like Munich RE, Allianz and Siemens lead the way – followed and challenged by enablers like the multibillion unicorn Celonis and scalable capital.

Universities

With LMU, TUM and the Fraunhofer HQ, Munich is world class in research. The cutting edge in Blockchain, payment systems and robo-advisory is pushed here.

Ecosystem

The Insurtech Hub and Plug & Play are just two of the ecosystem partners that create a platform between industry and research, corporates and startups. In Munich the future of finance and insurance is defined by the partnerships between corporates, startups and research.
