Monitor Mix Session with Sigri Hovde (SIGRID)

Monitor Mix Session with Sigri Hovde (SIGRID)

By WILM - Women In Live Music

Overview

Let's dive in to how they mix monitors in Norway - Advanced level

If you’ve been touring the European stages, you might have come across the Pink Monitor Engineer — none other than Sigri Hovde, longtime monitor engineer for the Norwegian artist SIGRID.

Have you always done monitors from FOH, but would like to do more monitors from monitors? Have you been doing monitors for years, but would like some new inputs and perspectives? Have you been standing behind your console thinking "how do other people do this?", then we have the course for you!

On 12 March from 11 am - 4 pm, Sigri will be visiting Patchwork London in Great Offley to talk about everything she had wished someone had told her before she started working as a monitor engineer. We'll talk about things like what does being the monitor engineer entail, pros and cons of IEMs and mixing in stereo vs. immersive. During the day we will as well take a look at KLANG:Technologies and how to mix immersive IEM

This workshop is kindly hosted by Patchwork-London in association with WILM, Allen&Heath and KLANG:Technologies
