We’re passionate about giving center stage to local talent. This time around, we’re inviting Tombo to our Living Kitchen to curate a traditional, Japanese dining experience just for you.

Did you know that “Zoku” is actually Japanese for family? We’re greatly inspired by Eastern values, so it feels just right to collaborate with a brand that embodies these principles too. 🇯🇵

About Tombo

Tombo is a narrative culinary concept by Edgars Sutka and his wife Alice; a heartfelt expression of his adventures living, learning, and working in Kyoto. Chef Edgars trained for 3 years in Kyoto in the tradition of Kaiseki cuisine, a multi-course hyperseasonal meal with origins in the Japanese tea ceremony tradition that emphasizes seasonality and being in the present moment. These philosophies are represented in Tombo’s culinary expressions. 🧑‍🍳

What’s on the menu?

A 7-course dinner. And the star of the show? The Shokado Bento! It’s Tombo’s signature dish and refers to a special type of midday or evening meal, served in a decorative bento box that contains a variety of delicious, masterfully crafted, and well-presented foods. 🍱

On top of this, you can experience a hand-picked drink pairing to go alongside your dinner. 🍷

Reservations

Dinner will be organized on a rotating schedule. Book your preferred time slot:

• 1st slot: 17:00 - 19:30

• 2nd slot: 20:00 - 22:30

Dietary requirements

We love to make sure that everyone feels welcome! However, this meal is prepared in the style of Kaiseki, where the chef must create a fine balance between textures, tastes and appearance, leaving little room for modifications to the dishes. This is why, unfortunately, we can't accommodate to vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free diets.* We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding!
