Description

Open Insurance just arrived!

New digital technology, increased competition and an increasingly favorable regulatory environment (Open Banking – PSD2) are driving new innovations across the banking industry…but what about insurance? What about Open Insurance?

The insurance model of the future might also be some form of marketplace. In marketplace insurance, the traditional insurance business model is transformed into a data-intensive, platform-based marketplace, where several solutions and services continually compete to offer customers tailored, good-value products. Beyond traditional insurance products and services, the new ecosystem will allow insurers to become the ‘hub’ for other (non)financial services provided by other companies. Maybe also from other industries.

Instead of disjointed components of a life stage process like a home or car purchase, starting a business, or having a child, all involved players with relevant products and services could be brought together in a holistic marketplace.

Open invitation to co-creation!

Maybe you are working on a fintech solution or service and looking to boost it with an insurance offering? Are you looking to test your idea and partner your insurtech startup with a lean and mean insurance company building an open platform and creating competitive products? Working on a service or product that can automate claims handling, increase clients NPS or eliminate fraud? Look no further.

Købstædernes Forsikring wants to meet startups that is looking for an open-minded organization, competitive products and existing customer base waiting for new and innovative solutions.

Købstædernes Forsikring are looking for ways to increasingly build a scalable organization. They firmly believes that investing in insurtech projects is part of the future and will take them one step closer to creating a platform where they can expand their products and services and increase their customer base – for mutual benefits and value.
