We are delighted to extend an invitation to the second Ion Channel Modulation Symposium (ICMS®) in Japan. Having previously hosted the symposium six times in Cambridge, UK, three times in the United States and, for the first time, in Japan in 2023. We are thrilled to continue the event at the University of Tokyo Yayoi Auditorium, Ichijo Hall.
The primary goal of the Ion Channel Modulation Symposium (ICMS®) is to serve as a significant platform that unites ion channel researchers from both academia and drug discovery sectors. The symposium aims to foster dialogue, forge collaborations, and disseminate the latest advancements and cutting-edge research within the pivotal domain of ion channel receptors.
The speakers will delve into a spectrum of ion channel topics, encompassing new therapeutic targets, advancements in understanding ion channel protein structures, breakthroughs in techniques for studying ion channels, and exploration of 'traditional' ion channel targets such as pain, inflammation, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. The symposium aims to encompass a wide array of ion channels, addressing critical issues in their modulation for drug discovery purposes and exploring innovative technologies and approaches in this research.
