<h2>Launch of the partnership between Insurance &amp; Pension and Copenhagen Fintech</h2>Many insurers remain focused on enhancing legacy systems, products, and business models while neglecting to devote enough resources to more disruptive innovations that might differentiate them in an increasingly customer-centric economy AND in a marketplace that is becoming more global. The future will not be defined by local players alone. Furthermore &#x27;Open Insurance&#x27; will also challenge the established industry in ways we can only imagine. Insurance will be embedded in other products and services and customers will engage with new entrants from many other industries. This will demand a new and radical approach to partnerships. Fundamentally, insurers no longer own the narrative on innovation. Indeed, most transformative innovation is taking place and being financed outside the industry, thanks in large part to the insurtech boom of the past decade. Ultimately, to futureproof their business, insurers will likely need to expand upon core innovations to jumpstart adjacent and transformational efforts.
