The purpose of this session is to share knowledge and experience on how to bring a fintech firm from seed stage to series-A, taking both the founder, the board member and the investor perspective into account. It will be a chance to bring your own questions on the topic to the table to be discussed with Lars Andersen, GP at Seed Capital, Christian Gabriel, CEO & Co-Founder at Capdesk, and Johan Lorenzen, entrepreneur, board member and angel investor.

It is incredible difficult to build a new venture and many depend on venture financing to do so, and this session will focus on the especially difficult phase where you go from having raised a seed round to raising a series-a. We are all familiar with the text-book journey, with fundraising rounds being neatly placed every 18-24 months aligned with a mind-blowing growth in valuation and perfectly timed business milestones and value infliction points - but what about in real life? We have invited three guests from our community who all have experience in bringing fintech companies from seed to series-a and beyond, to share how their experience has been and what learnings they have taken away from it. We will take questions from you as a participants and cover topics such as why so many fail, the role of bridge rounds, finding a fundraising strategy, crafting your storytelling, and figuring out when to fundraise.
