About this event
What makes a health tech solution worth adopting - and paying for - in Germany? This unique event offers Danish digital health startups the chance to present directly to two key German healthcare stakeholders: a leading hospital and a private health insurance company.
Each stakeholder offers a distinct yet critical perspective on innovation adoption, covering everything from clinical relevance and workflow integration to reimbursement potential and long-term cost-effectiveness. Together, they provide a clearer picture of how startups can position themselves for success in the German market.
This curated event features short startup presentations and live feedback from decision-makers at the forefront of healthcare delivery and financing. Whether you're seeking validation, pilot opportunities, or guidance on market fit, this is your chance to learn what matters most to German buyers.
Why You Should Attend:
- Pitch your solution to stakeholders who have real-world influence over adoption and payment.
- Gain insights into what hospitals and insurers are actually looking for.
- Learn how to position your evidence, product, and value story for maximum relevance.
- Receive actionable feedback in a trusted, closed-door setting.
About the attending Health Insurance Company:
DAK-Gesundheit is one of Germany’s largest statutory health insurance providers, covering around 5.5 million members. DAK has a history dating back over 240 years and plays a significant role in shaping healthcare delivery in Germany. As a public health insurer, DAK operates under the German Social Code (SGB V) framework, offering comprehensive services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, hospital treatments, and digital health services.
Learn from the expert Dr. Stephan Rohde, who specializes in digital transformation and politics at DAK-Gesundheit. Find out about DAK's strategic approach to innovation, the important things to keep in mind when working with them, and your next steps to connect.
About the attending Hospital:
The University Hospital Frankfurt (Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt), affiliated with Goethe University, is one of Germany’s leading university hospitals, combining top-tier clinical care, research, and medical education. With over 1,200 beds, 33 departments, and a strong interdisciplinary focus, it treats more than 500,000 patients annually. The hospital is increasingly recognized as a strategic partner in digital health innovation, actively collaborating with startups, tech companies, and academic institutions.
As Chief Medical Informatics Officer and Head of Staff to the Medical Director at the University Hospital Frankfurt, Dr. Michael von Wagner is medically responsible for hospital information systems, the assessment and structuring of requirements and innovations for the digitalization of clinical processes, and, together with the CIO, the university hospital's digitalization strategy. He is Managing Director of the University Center for Digital Healthcare (UCDHC) and Senior Physician in Gastroenterology.
