Gen Z Uprisings: Leaderless yet Leaderful

Join us for the Leaderless yet Leaderful Masterclass and discussion on October 22nd at 2pm CEST | 3pm EAT | 5:30pm IST | 8am EDT featuring activists from Kenya, Bangladesh, Nepal, Morocco, and more. Drawing on recent waves of youth-led uprisings, this session explores how today’s Gen Z movements are reshaping the struggle for freedom through leaderful organising. From Nairobi to Kathmandu, young people are innovating new forms of resistance—horizontal, decentralised, and resilient—that reject traditional top-down leadership while building collective power. Speakers will share first-hand insights into how these movements organise behind the scenes, mobilise online and offline, adapt under repression, and channel street protests into long-term strategies for justice.
