I’ve lived in 9 countries on 4 continents, with 15+ years as a diplomatic spouse, officially labeled a “dependent” (sadly, a pretty accurate term.. because we totally are: financially, legally etc.) Despite two degrees, I felt invisible, stuck in the role of “someone’s spouse,” and too afraid to admit I wasn’t okay until it made me physically sick.

The wake-up call came when a fellow spouse at my post attempted suicide. That’s when I realised silence kills.

I did the deep inner work, healed myself, and started speaking up. Today, I create safe spaces, run workshops, and coach expat and diplomatic partners helping them navigate a life that looks privileged on paper but comes with its own very real challenges.
