We all tell stories every day — when we introduce ourselves, pitch an idea, or share something we care about. But often, we overthink it.
This interactive 35-minute session helps participants rediscover the simplicity and power of authentic storytelling. Through short, hands-on exercises and real examples, you’ll learn how to craft and confidently share your own 60-second story — the kind that feels natural and leaves a lasting impression.

Who the Workshop Is For

This session is open to everyone — students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to feel more confident when speaking about themselves.
No writing or creative background needed. Whether you work in IT, HR, or Finance, this workshop will help you communicate with more clarity, connection, and confidence — in networking events, interviews, or everyday conversations.

About the Facilitator

Amal Shakeb is a Marketing Communication Strategist and the author of SIMPLY Content, as well as the founder of a consultancy that helps individuals and organizations communicate with purpose and authenticity.

With a background in journalism and over 15 years of experience in global organizations such as Philips and Syngenta, Amal specializes in storytelling, inclusive communication, and building sustainable content strategies.

Through her consultancy, she now helps individuals and teams create Smart & Sustainable Content Strategies that are simple, effective, and true to their values. Her workshops focus on helping people and brands “own their story” — simply, confidently, and in their own voice.
