About this event

  • 1 hour

‘Dive into Summer!’ is a special edition of our regular baby and toddler music classes, and this time you are invited to bring your babies, toddlers, and all the family! We will gather together in Eliaskirken at 10am for a Family Singing Service to celebrate the arrival of summer – with storytelling, singing and dancing with our little ones. After the service there will be drinks, snacks and the chance to chat.

Just like our monthly Babysalmesang in English and Toddler Music Time classes, this special singalong church service is an opportunity for you and your children to:

- Enjoy music, movement and rhythm together

- Share a playful and educational experience

- Learn songs and hymns in the beautiful church space

- Meet other local families with young children

- This time, with extra excitement as we ‘dive into’ the summer holidays!

Whether you’ve been attending our family music classes regularly, or are trying it out for the very first time, everyone is welcome! It’s FREE to attend, but we ask you to book a ticket so we know how many families to expect. Just book one ticket per family.

The service is led by Pastor Maria Fihl, together with music teacher Sarah Maxted.

Sarah is a British singer who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. She is an experienced church musician and music educator, having previously taught baby and toddler classes at The Little London Music School and worked in the music team at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in London. Sarah currently sings at Østervangkirken in Glostrup and also teaches Babysalmesang in English on the Church Ship in Sydhavn.
