About the Exhibition
The project began with an intimate photograph of Dr Ng’s mother’s hands as she read a book. From this tender moment, the series evolved into 21 portraits of Singaporeans who have distinguished themselves across diverse fields.
From chefs and dancers to doctors, athletes, and artists, Dr Ng captures the essence of identity — shaped not by circumstance, but by discipline, passion, and the quiet dignity of perseverance.
