About this event
Design for Tomorrow represents a transnational collaboration between Norway and Denmark, structured as an exchange of practices and experiences that explore how the two countries are cultivating awareness of climate change in urban contexts while empowering young people to actively shape public spaces. The initiative is co-led by cirka cph, a climate action consultancy whose core mission is to enable individuals to recognize their environmental impact and to equip them with practical tools for meaningful climate action.
The project aspires not only to foster skills that prepare youth for future climate challenges but also to generate tangible impact by influencing and reimagining a real public space, thereby contributing to the transformation of the neighborhood identity of NV in Copenhagen.
The Learning Phase of the program will be carried out through interactive and explorative workshops that emphasize experiential learning, where participants will work hands-on with materials and techniques—such as planting, painting, and practical tool use—while co-creating ideas alongside peers from Norway with expertise in building and carpentry. The culmination of the project will be a joint exhibition in Oslo, offering a space to showcase both the creative journey and the shared outcomes of this cross-border collaboration.Benefits and perks from participating:
