Day 1 of Architectures of Planetary Well-being Symposium 2.0
Join us for the second iteration of our biannual symposium program at Whitechapel Gallery on November 17 & 18.
re:arc institute invites you to join us for the second iteration of our biannual symposium program dedicated to exploring the architectures of planetary well-being, which we understand as ongoing practices of custodianship and care towards our social-ecological environments. Architectures of planetary well-being offer an approach to understanding the frameworks that connect these systems, in turn allowing us to imagine the relational change needed to move beyond extractive paradigms.
Our second gathering will be a program across two evenings, in collaboration with practitioners from a range of disciplinary perspectives—including architects, designers, environmental organizers, and artists—to consider themes that have emerged through and since our first symposium in February, particularly in regard to material realities and processes and our collective understandings of well-being and grief.
The gathering will happen in-person, in London, on November 17 and 18, 2023 from 18:00-22:00 at Whitechapel Gallery.
