What is the session about?
In this introductory session, you will build foundational knowledge on data science using R. You will learn importation and manipulation of csv files, filtering, subsetting, basic visualizations and many other useful skills.

What does it require to participate?
We don't require any prior knowledge of statistics. The course will introduce basic concepts in R and then quickly move on to visualizations. We will learn about basic programming concepts in R such as variables, iteration, functions as well as basics of visualizations such as histograms, barcharts, scatterplots and how to interpret these.
Do I need to install something on beforehand?
Have R and R Studio installed.
