The United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) represent a call for action by all countries to preserve the climate of the planet. With the data center industry on the trajectory to consume 1/5 of our planet’s power in 2025, taking up to 3,5% of global CO2 emissions, immediate action is required to redirect the data center industry towards a climate-positive future.
Danish Data Center Industry and UNEP DTU Partnership is once again bringing the discussion of sustainable data centers to the table at the virtual conference “Data Centers Denmark 2021” .
The conference is gathering the data center industry, universities, research institutions and policy-makers to discuss the latest energy efficient measures and how policy frameworks can support the industry towards a sustainable future in a post COVID-19 era.
Join us for a discussion, and let us hear your take on how we can rethink the data center in the SDG era.
