Is this something for you?

This learning space is for Community of Practice (CoP) facilitators and leaders in organizations across all sectors.

It is also for you if you lead or facilitate a professional club, a network, a practice or an experience group and want to use Community of Practice approach.

You are working on a specific community of practice and want to make a difference by connecting to other leaders and facilitators with similar issues.

You should join if you have a decision you have to make - for example, but not limited to, if you need to redesign, scale or close a CoP.

Overall objectives:

- Understand your community(ies) of practice challenges through the value they create or not

- Get familiar with the value creation framework developed to evaluate communities of practice

- Use this approach to frame opportunities in your community(ies) of practice

- Define and outline relevant interventions for the framed opportunities

- Invite experience of all participants to help your community of practice thrive

Activities:

Mapping insights and indicators of value creation in individual cases

Outlining individual interventions

Overall approach:

By value creation, we understand the process of learning, which makes learning through engagement with other people possible and impactful. Most of my inspiration on value creation comes from the Value Creation framework by Etienne and Bev Wenger-Trayner.

This learning space will be a calm and cosy environment where you can get inspired and work with your community plans in your own tempo and style.
